BE prepared for a sumptuous feast as Shenanigans Restaurant Saipan goes all out in offering diners an unforgettable Valentine’s Day and first year anniversary special dinner on Monday, February 14.
Shenanigan owner/manager Bel Bushby said they will be offering a 5-plate, sit-down Valentine’s Day dinner beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Monday which will surely lure diners to come back for more.
The menu of the night will start with smoked salmon and tuna ceviche on pears sorbet for appetizer. A lobster soup will come next, followed by mixed green salad with honey Italian dressing.
The choices for the main course are baked seafood in corn husks which is baked catch of the day and prawns wrapped in corn husks with lemon chili butter and served with fresh corn, fava beans and succotash with caramelized onions; the roasted rack of lamb crusted with herbs and filled with prawns with red wine sauce and served on a bed of cassoulet of summer beans and roasted chateau potato; or the Surf and Turf which is marinated New York steak, roasted to perfection with sweet garlic and rosemary red wine sauce, along with blackened seared scallops and served with twice-baked potato with garlic aioli and vegetables.
As a special treat, Bushby said they will offer an eat-all-you-can dessert buffet which includes the restaurant’s famous cheese cake and tirami-su.
The special Valentine’s Day dinner is $50 per person. A special Valentine’s Day lunch is also available from 10:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Monday.
Since they opened a year ago, Bushby said more new dishes have been introduced into their menu.
“We will be adding more dishes to suit the diversified tastes of our clients and continue to improve our services,” Bushby said.
With chef Tony Alovera at the helm, diners should watch out for the daily lunch and dinner specials because it is usually not in the menu.
“We try to come up with menu that is new and unique to our restaurant every day to give our diners a reason to come back,” Alovera said.
He added that if a client orders something that is not in the menu but they have the ingredients, they are willing to go the extra mile to prepare that particular order.
Shenanigans menu displays a huge selection of salads, appetizers, sandwiches and
pasta, vegetarian menu, kid’s menu, and beverages.
Shenanigans Restaurant, located at the Juan T. Guerrero Building in Garapan, can seat from 70-80 persons. They also offer catering services for all occasions.
