Working up an appetite even if you’re not hungry requires no effort at all when you decide to have dinner at the Seaman’s Restaurant located at the Lower Base.
Dining at Seaman’s Restaurant is an experience of satisfying not only your palates but your senses.

Hearing the waves lapping on the dock outside and breathing the salty tang of the ocean breeze from the wide glass windows is enough to make you feel contented and hungry.
Seaman’s Restaurant prides itself on serving the juiciest steamed lobster in garlic butter sauce or coconut milk. You can also order lobster sashimi.
Rodel Gabriel, Seaman’s Restaurant chef said that although lobster is mainly ordered by the tourists, you don’t have to be a tourist to order Seaman’s Restaurant lobster.
While waiting for your order, you can spend time at the Billiard Table right inside the restaurant, belt out songs from the Videoke, or open the huge glass windows to let the warm sea air waft in.
Seaman’s Restaurant menu includes a wide selection of Korean food such as potato and pork neckbone soup, spicy soup, barbeque, appetizing starters like fresh sashimi, beef, chicken or fish kelaguin, French fries and more.

The menu carries several selections of available soups, salads, sandwiches and the main entrees. You could also order pasta and noodles, and Filipino favorites like Sisig, Lechon Kawali, Crispy Pata, Pork Sinigang, Fried chicken and Pancit.
Seaman’s lunch special is Mahi-Mahi fish grilled with garlic butter sauce. It comes with a generous serving of rice and a side dish of mixed vegetables.
Order the restaurant’s Seafood Hotplate – a never-to-be-missed combination of shrimps, mussels, fish fillet and served sizzling on your table is simply irresistible.
Forget your diet as you dig up into a platter of succulent hamburger steak with mushrooms and served with rice and buttered corn.
Not much of a meat eater myself, my favorite was a steamed reef fish swimming in sauce and ginger and served on a bed of fresh lettuce. It was perfectly delicious as evidenced by the empty platter save for the bones after I made short work of it.
